Happy Halloween From the Trick or Treating Trio!
FRODO: I love Halloween!! I love costume changes and visitors so Halloween is one of my favorite times of year! Happy Halloween everyone!
ZULU: Well, though I love having my photo taken and wearing clothing of distinction, I certainly do not like polyester, and neon green is definitely not my color! But, all in all, I guess Halloween is OK! Happy Halloween!
AMARULA: Halloween? I’m against it. But I do love Halloween slideshows and artistic pumpkins! So Frodo, Zulu and I want to thank once again Nellie —for the great pumpkin–and Peaches and Paprika for the amazing slideshow!!

Frodo Gets Animated for National Cat Day!
FRODO: Oh Heavens! Oh My! I can’t believe it! Not only is it National Cat Day today but it’s also Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop! I’m showing you my cartoonist side (get it??) cause Mom says I’m such a funny character! I just can’t believe cats get their own national cat day!? Do we get prizes? Will there be extra tuna…surely we get extra tuna?!! What time is the awards ceremony?! What will I wear!?
AMARULA: Actually Frodo, sadly, National Cat Day is only celebrated in the USA and as we are Canadian cats we don’t celebrate it…
FRODO: What?? So no extra tuna….no red carpet….
AMARULA: NO sorry…in fact…today in Canada it’s Seafood-free Saturday! So not only will there not be any extra tuna …there won’t be any tuna at all!!
FRODO: Noooooooooooooooooo!
ZULU: Why do you listen to Amarula!!?? Haven’t you learned by now not to trust her! Canada celebrates National Cat Day too!! And I know mom has some extra tuna treats planned for today!
FRODO: Yipee!! Why are you looking so artsy too Zulu?!

ZULU: Don’t you think this is childish Amarula? Why can’t we just hang out close to one another in the backyard without any fur flying.
AMARULA: As I recall, aren’t you the fighter in the family? Weren’t you the one who started a fight with Frodo a few weeks ago?
ZULU: That was for something of vital importance! Supremacy of the catnip patch! But normally I’m a lover not a fighter!

- The first thing I check when I go online is _Whether or not Amazon is having a sale on catnip. I also Google to see if a new remake of that dog movie “Old Yeller” is coming out. I love a good comedy!
- My signature dish is: Hairball with a side of drool___________________.
- My Halloween night is usually spent: Frightening trick or treaters with the sounds of my forlorn caterwauling as I sing sadly about the death of summer.
- Trick or treaters : Have tasty ankles! I love trying to chop them when they come to the door! Yummy!

AMARULA: I smell something in the air….
FRODO: Oh Boy oh boy…is it chicken? Do you smell chicken in the air Amarula?
AMARULA: No you idiot, it’s not chicken! It smells like….a trespasser….
AMARULA: She’s behind me isn’t she?
AMARULA: What are you doing here back in my domain???
FRODO: Who? Who’s back Amarula? I don’t have the dex…dex…dex… whatever that big word is… to jump on the fence!
AMARULA: Dexterity, you idiot!
FRODO: Dexterity is here?? Who’s that?
AMARULA: Why do I even bother? NO! That cat from the neighborhood is back in our yard! You remember…she flirted with you and then you kissed. It was disgusting!
FRODO: Where? There she is! My fluffy feline of love!
FRODO: Oh no! The fence is in our way!
AMARULA: Well, sadly Frodo it looks like she can’t get through the fence! You’ll just have to stare at each other longingly (it appears she and Frodo share the same low IQ as they can’t seem to figure out they could easily fit through the opening!)
AMARULA: Oh no I spoke too soon. She is going around the other way. Sadly she should be here any moment…
FRODO: It’s her! It’s really her! Wait for me. I’m coming!
FRODO: I’m almost there! Wait for your mancat my love!
FRODO: Smooch! Another kiss! I’m in love!
FRODO: Now let’s go hunt some sunbeams together!
AMARULA: Oh no this will not do! I can’t have ANOTHER interloper in my yard! Sharing my domain with Frodo and Zulu is already too much!
AMARULA: This yard is definitely not big enough for another cat! I will have to take care of this freewheeling feline soon….mmmmmwwwwahahahahahaha
Sunday Selfie Blog Hop
ZULU: As much as I love my brother Frodo, I was astonished and–more than just a little hurt–that he got so much attention last Sunday for his Sunday Selfie blog hop hosted by the Cat on My Head! We all know that I’m the looker in the family! So I spent all morning trying a variety of ties.

It’s Caturday and Zulu Shows-off his Artsy Side!
ZULU: I can’t believe how much attention Amarula got last Saturday for her artsy look! It’s a well-known fact that I’m the best looking in the family! I mean come on let’s be honest…With her weird coloring, Amarula just looks like Halloween threw up all over her!!
Today for Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop! I’m showing you my animated (get it??) side! I love Caturday (as long as I am the center of attention)!

Pumpkin Carving, Halloween Costumes and Fill ins!
AMARULA: Halloween?! I’m against it. For obvious reasons (I DO NOT like costumes – they tend to cover up my natural beauty!
Pumpkins?! I’m against them too. They always have such sinister faces! Or at least I was against them until our good friend and fantastic artist Nellie made a carved pumpkin just for me!! Isn’t it beautiful!??

1. One Halloween, I dressed as _____a witch__.And I would like to point out that I did NOT dress up willingly – the human made me!
2. My favorite comedian is __Frodo_ As much as the little imp drives me crazy, his low IQ and propensity to do anything I tell him to has led to many a laugh! Like when he was caught all covered in dirt from digging up the human’s plant!
3. My scariest Halloween was see above, number 1 – when the human made me wear a costume!!
4. My new pumpkin from Nellie is my favorite Halloween treat. I LOVE IT!!
