Nap Time Interrupted

AMARULA: Ah! Friday afternoon….I am looking forward to a nice long nap beside my beloved new scratcher…

AMARULA: And just like that another nap is ruined…

PS We just read that our French feline friend RouXy (beloved pal of Frimousse) is very ill. Please visit his website (link here) and send your positive thoughts. He is actually the neighbor’s cat but every day Frimousse’s owner goes over and brings him to their house so that RouXy can spend his time with his best friend Frimousse!

Week 38: January 27, 2017

  1. I have seen CATS (obviously)_ on Broadway. In fact, I was the inspiration!
  2. My Chinese zodiac sign is I am not sure when I was born (and a lady never tells her age) but I am certain I am not the year of the DOG! Imagine having a year of the dog but no CAT!!
  3. Celebrities I don’t know much about human celebrities because I am unable to watch TV as the human refuses to let me be in charge of the remote!
  4. A good day is when I see very little of Tweedledee and Tweedledum (aka Frodo and Zulu)!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Selfie Sunday: Amarula The Co-Worker

Amarula may come off as a tough tortie…and she is…but she is a real momma’s girl! As you may remember from Wednesday (link here) all the cats love joining me on my desk when I am TRYING to work. But Amarula in particular loves sitting in the drawer in my desk beside me as I work. I even keep a blanket in there instead of papers or files–it is pretty much her drawer!

She curls up real tight and sleeps the day away (Just don’t tell her you saw these photos or she may kill me for showing them to you!

And then sometimes she just stares–I dare say lovingly —at me!

Mancat Monday: The Best Chair In the House

ZULU: I love this rocking chair! I know most felines have a fav chair and while Frodo tends to favor the Lazy Boy and Amarula likes the futon, I love this old-school rocking chair! Sometimes I will even lean back to make it actually rock back and forth (though it only moves a little as mom put something under it so it would not ever roll over one of our tails–she is so smart, that mom of mine!)

ZULU: I get so excited when I get it all to myself that I just love to rub all over it to mark it with my scent!

ZULU: Unfortunately, it can be a little….

ZULU: Slippery…..Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

ZULU: …but I still love it!
