ZULU: I need to get out of the house! Look how sunny it is out–there is no way that that white stuff is snow! Just cause the human is in quarantine doesn’t mean I need to be.

ZULU: Wow Frodo. I didn’t see you out there, move over so I can come out too!

FRODO: Let me in! Let me in! Zulu, the sun has betrayed us! That white stuff is indeed snow!

ZULU: How could Mother Nature do that to us!?

Absence Makes The Heart Grow Fonder!

AMARULA: Oh God! She’s home from her trip

ZULU: I don’t care what you’ve heard or think you’ve seen. Amarula and I were certainly not sleeping beside each other in your absence because we missed you so much that we were clearly driven mad and delusional

ZULU: Tell her Amarula! Tell her you and I are still mortal enemies. Where is your cutting, caustic wit when we need it?

AMARULA: I am so ashamed!

ZULU: How will my reputation recover from this?

AMARULA: I’m just gonna close my eyes and pretend this is not happening!

PS: I am back from my travels and safe. Made it home just in time to beat the travel bans/airport madness. Self-quarantining for next 14 days. Hope everyone is safe and healthy!

The Cats Go Stir Crazy

After lots of snow, freezing cold temperatures and no sunlight for days, the cats were really feeling housebound and going crazy! As soon as the sun finally started to shine they insisted on going out. No matter how I warned them that there was still snow and cold. The sunshine lulled them into a false sense of security…

There was only a little sliver of space beside the garage

Zulu, being less adventurous than the other two (and possibly more intelligent, actually), was not as anxious to leave the porch steps

But eventually even he couldn’t resist!

Amarula pondered the possibility of jumping into the snow, while Frodo chewed on the dead weeds and Zulu just watched on in wonder! Sadly the cold was such that they had to run inside after a few minutes!

Clearly someone else in my town was going stir crazy. A house a few blocks away build a 15 foot snowman! It made the news! And everyone from all over is driving into town to see it!

Zulu Puts His Best Paw Forward

FRODO: My paw is totally falling asleep but I don’t want to move it cause I don’t want to disturb Zulu! He looks so cute! See, you humans aren’t the only ones who are loath to move and disturb us when we kitties are comfy! Such a dilemma!

FRODO: Maybe I will just try to fall asleep like this…

ZULU: I really want to move my paw but Frodo looks so cute I don’t want to disturb him!
