AMARULA: Hey! What is this lump doing on the bed in my fav sleeping spot?

ZULU: Quiet I am getting some beauty sleep. Something I would say you are desperately in need of!

AMARULA: Grrrrrrrr

ZULU: Now can we please get some sleep!

AMARULA: Sure Zulu buddy. We can get some sleep. Close your eyes and go to sleep…close your eyes…Mwha…ha..ha

ZULU: What was that? Did you say something?

AMARULA: Nothing at all. Just wishing you nighty night and a sound sleep….

ZULU: For some reason I think I better sleep with one eye open tonight

Cat Burglar In The Catnip Patch

This is Remington my neighbor’s cat. I found him having a great ole time in the kitties’ catnip patch.

REMINGTON: Oh oh….

Zulu, unfortunately, is not into sharing and growled and so Remington ran under the deck stairs and tried sneak out and around Zulu!

REMINGTON: I’m leaving Zulu! I’m leaving!

ZULU: Get out and stay out!

ZULU: I am a lover not a fighter but I will defend my catnip patch! (look at his fluffy tail–I have never seen it this fluffy!)

ZULU: It’s mine all mine!

Tunnel Vision

ZULU: Zzzzzzz…..

FRODO: Hey Zulu?

ZULU: What is it Frodo?

FRODO: Why do you get to stay in the open tunnel and I have to be locked in the tent?

ZULU: Cause mom says you are a “roamer.” You are too friendly [not to mention not too bright] and would wander off and get lost

FRODO: Seems unfair! Why do they trust you so much?

ZULU: oh come on! Who wouldn’t trust this face!

Zulu’s Monday Routine

ZULU: It’s not easy being beautiful…I have to constantly be washing myself to ensure I look my best…would not want to disappoint the ladies!

 

ZULU: Sometimes when I am feeling philosophical I wonder “is this what life is all about? Just looking good?” But then I come to my senses and realize that I have a responsibility to society to provide them with something beautiful to look at!

ZULU: Ok, back to work…

ZULU: Hey can I have some privacy please!

Monday Stretches With Zulu and Frodo

Frodo and Zulu wanted to share their upper-body Monday stretches with you–they believe it gets the week off on the right foot (or paw)! It’s essential to have a nice warm fire to keep everything loose.

ZULU: This is is my nail stretch and Frodo is demonstrating his chest stretch. Note that it’s vital to curl your toes as you elongate the neck!

ZULU: This is my upper back and Frodo’s eyeball and neck stretch.

ZULU: This is our arms-outstretched-in-unison pose! Observe how Frodo has the unique talent of staying half asleep during an entire stretching workout. I believe some may find that sleeping through the actual exercises makes stretching much more enjoyable!
