Frodo’s Sad Selfie Sunday

frodo-sunday-selfie-sad

Frodo, who is pretty much one of the happiest cats in the world all of the time, is feeling blue this Sunday. He’s finding it hard to get out of bed as he’s overwhelmed with the sad news about Fiona going to the Rainbow Bridge. And the loss of Sammy, Treasure and Easy is just making everything too much for the little guy. He’ll open his eyes again in a few hours and see if he is ready to greet the day.

This is my Selfie Sunday for the blog hop (hosted by The Cat on My Head)

  1. I know on any ordinary day this would be unconscionable … but maybe cuddling up to him a bit might make you both feel better, Amarula? Of course, you’d have to give yourself a furious bath afterward … but togetherness and appreciating what we still have can make it just a bit easier to bear. We know YOU’RE tough and don’t need anyone … but Frodo and Zulu … well, they’re BOYS 😉

  2. You are lookin’ gawjus Frodo. We too are sad. We have lost so much this year and it doesn’t seem to be letting up. We’re feelin’ a little down ’bout our furst Christmas without sis Lexi too, but tryin’ to be happy cuz it’s sissy Raena’s furst. Loss is hard on us all. But they are in a better place where they feel no pain or sorrow anymore. At least we can take comfurt in dat. Big hugs fur all.

    Luv ya’

  4. I have seldom seen such grief in this our community. We have been truly devastated this week, and one I wish was a bad dream to be awoken from with glad tidings. Thankfully Merlin’s great news brought much happiness and hope to these sad times. purrs ERin

  5. I agree. So much sadness and loss, and so many families that are missing a tiny piece of their hearts. It’s enough to make us all want to stay in bed and snuggle with those we love. Maybe I’ll do just that! But thanks for sharing your photo anyway. You really do look darling.
