I am starting to get into birding so I have been watching informational videos about birds and Frodo seems to have decided that birding is a hobby he can definitely get behind!
Ironically, the bird song that captured Frodo’s attention the most is from a bird called a gray catbird! So named because one of its many calls (it has dozens) sounds like a mewling cat. Frodo will make a fantastic birder as long as he can keep his claws to himself!
We’re doing the Awww Monday Blog hop from Comedyplus!
Awww, what great shots of your watching birdy TV. Mom is good to you. As it should be.
Thank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. My best to your mom. ♥
I can understand Frodo’s reaction to the catbird sound. I’ve heard a catbird a couple of times and almost thought it was a cat! Both times, though, I checked carefully and there were no cats in the vicinity.

NNNNNNNOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Frodo is in the catbird seat!
Frodo is enjoying his birding lessons.
Y’know, Frodo…you won’t be able to get to those birds through the screen.
We enjoy watching birds on the screen too. The outside birds are very wary as we have ferals around so they never land for long
Aww, this is too cute and funny!
You are quite the ornithologist. XO
That sure does look like fun Frodo!
Frodo, you are so cute!
You look like you’re studying hard.
He wants to “bird” like Amarula! Too bad (and good – depending on perspective) that he can’t handle the real thing …
Frodo – it looks like your mom has settled on a decent hobby. Lucky you! Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty
Roary is mesmerized with birds both outside and on my phone, I laughed the first time he ever saw one, he was hooked!! He and Frodo should get together!
That last picture of that purrfect little head…Frodo, I could eat you up!
Frodo, you are the cutest. These are some wonderful photos of him getting all excited to be a pawsome birder. Thank you for sharing. Have a beautiful upcoming weekend.
He will invite them to tea.
Frodo may become the next bird expert!
