A Sad Selfie Sunday

AMARULA: This selfie is of me looking wistfully towards the heavens because I just received the sad news of the mighty Punapippuri, King Kitty Cat of Finlands passing. Please visit the website to pass on your condolences. He was deeply loved. We will all miss his antics. Seems like we have been losing a lot of friends recently.

This is Amarula’s Sunday Selfie for The Cat On My Head Sunday Blog Hop!

  1. Very sad indeed. 🙁 Even though we Queens of Finland (S) had ever so often some territorial issues with King Kitty Cat of Finland (N), we loved him. His human believes that cats on the other side of the rainbow are dancing in the Northern Lights. We hardly see the Northern Lights so far south in Finland, but we’ll keep our eyes open this winter.

Punapippuri’s human was very wise by saying that we should all celebrate the joy he brought us, and that’s exactly what we did yesterday. Oh, and today, too. But yesterday in public. Today we got lohi (salmon).

  2. We were also sorry to hear this news.
So sad when a pawsome kitty crosses the Bridge.
We know he will be missed and his family is sad.
    We sent purrs to them.

  3. Amarula, we just learned of this loss on Sunday…so sad. Punapippuri was so young. We are certain he knows you are looking up at him and sending love. You look quite lovely in your cute collar resting in the grass. Thank you so much for hopping. 4. Thank you for this post – even though all Punapippuri did was tease you Amarula. We know deep down he liked the girlcats! I can’t believe he’s gone- but I am so supported by the comments and love from the blogs. Thank you.
