Going Gray!

Zulu likes to hang out with me when I work and today I noticed something odd…

He is getting quite gray. He’s only 12 years old so I was surprised.

I have never had a cat go gray before. Has anyone else? Is it normal? Regardless, I think it makes him look very distinguished!

  1. I don’t think I’ve had a gray cat either. He’s most handsome and he knows it. It makes him look more distinguished.

  2. Not sure about kitty cats, but I sure do know about “me and more grey”. Sigh.
(But then my cat is still a young ‘un)
Purrsonally I think his grey is most becoming … and they do say it always looks good on the gentlemen.

  3. I have had black cats develop a rusty brown color, I guess caused by exposure to the sun. My tuxie is acquiring more white hairs sprinkled around as he ages. Zulu is still a handsome boy !

  4. I like the way Zulu’s pawsies look with the touch of gray! I’ve had black cats get a few white hairs with age. Nothing widespread, just a few here and there. One black cat got one white whisker when she got older.
