Amarula Meets Frodo’s New Friend

AMARULA: What the heck!? What is that thing in Zulu’s tunnel?

AMARULA: Sweet God! It’s a cat! It must be that menace that Frodo has befriended and Zulu is still hiding in the basement from.

AMARULA: Oh no! It has the same dull, naive and friendly look in its eyes that Frodo does! I do not need another Frodo in my life!

AMARULA: The dullard actually appears to be moving closer to me! It seems to have no fear or common sense at all! Why is it not quaking like a leaf as I give it my best Amarula-Terrifying-Tortie death stare??

AMARULA: I gotta get otta here! I can’t take more Frodo-friendly visitors. I’m gonna make a call to the Humane Society and alert them that there is a dull-witted cat in need of rescue in my backyard!

And we are doing the Awww Monday Blog hop from Comedyplus!

  1. Amarula we (partly) share the same kind of problem. There are to many cats in my garden.
You need to do something ! Otherwise it will be an invasion. Frodo is really to friendly with those invaders.
Perhaps you need some help from your human.

  2. Oh, my word! You do have a busy yard! Well, ours is visited by sneaky ones who come under the cedar fence. Spring is the most active with bunnies, skunks, and raccoons. Although, I think we have a new cat around. Stay safe! xo

  4. Well Amarula, it does look a little friendly. Maybe it means no harm but we probably would have run too. The cat does look right at home in that tunnel. Good luck to you.

  7. “It has the same dull, naive and friendly look in its eyes that Frodo does!” That’s cold, Amarula … TRUE … but cold; you’re definitely my kind of lady-cat. You know, I’m thinking all those bells your Mom makes you wear might make it difficult for intruders to take you seriously. I mean, how can you be scared of something that jingles?!?! You should make your Mom wear those bells around for a day so she knows what it’s like! ~Bear Cat
