3. I have hidden a dead mouse in the kitchen cupboard. The human has been asking “what’s that funny smell” since “ last Tuesday!” I have to do something to amuse myself through the winter!
4. Right now, I would kill for a Bailey’s Irish Cream to help warm me up! I wonder where that human hid the key to the liquor cabinet this time! I vehemently protest the locking of the liquor cabinet!!

You look extra reddish in these pictures, Amarula … tortilicious and beautiful as always! It looks like you’re spared the five bell collar in winter … so there’s one good thing. Though, if you knock off a ton of mice, that might change!
Why always complain about winter?
Amerula, Frodo and Zulu don’t make the sun shine or make it snow as they fancy!
I know all about those funny smells from dead mice! Flynn used to bring them in and toss them around. Sometimes they would go under the fridge or the oven and I would hook them out. One time the smell was terrible and for days I tried to find it. It eventually went on it’s own. We got a new fridge some time later and as we carried the old one out we could see a mummified mouse right in the back and quite high up. It must have still been alive and crawled upwards trying to escape.
Oh my, that’s plenty of Brrrrrr Humbug!
Oh my, a dead mouse in the cupboard? No thanks! I’m not sure that amusing is the right word.
I’m feeling the same way about winter. I hate wearing all these clothes and I really hate wearing shoes and socks.
Bwahahahahahahaha on that stinky mouse you hid. I know the mom doesn’t think it’s funny though.

Amarula, we’ve made it into February, so Winter is beginning to fade. Too bad it’s gonna put up a big fight before it goes, but it will go! Unless we are in a “Twilight Zone”

It’s Mother Nature’s fault, Amarula. We’re supposed to get snow on Sunday. Phooey.
We wouldn’t mind a bit of snow, Amarula. We’re back in drought and could use it! All we get is high fire danger days. 🙁
Veikko will happily send you a sweater to warm you, if you wish Amarula. And then you can pick the lock to the Bailey’s stash with your claw and snuggle up inside there.

Frodo and Zulu have nothing to do with the winter and the snow. Spring will be here in due time. February is the coldest month were I live. I am sure it’s the same were you live.
